Introduction

In the heart of Shirogane exists what appears to be a simple Onsen, surrounded by brilliant trees with crimson leaves, as well as a small pond and zen garden to the side. However, upon stepping inside, one would discover another world entirely. Acting as a place of respite for the somber, macabre, or otherwise darkly inclined, Sanguinaria's interior is mysterious and elegant.When you step inside, you enter into a small corridor. To your right sits a message book upon a counter with instructions on how to reach the lounge: Straight ahead, and up through the elevator before you.*Upon exiting the elevator, you find yourself immersed in a dimly lit lounge, appearing mysteriously separated from the world outside, with windows that seemingly look out onto the rift itself. The flames of dozens of scarlet candles illuminate the dark space alongside the gentle twinkle of the stars shining through the windows. Gentle melodies can be heard from the piano on the stage, accompanied by the gentle trickle of water from the inviting hot tub around the corner, in case you were in fact hoping to enjoy the onsen's soothing waters.But straight ahead of you sits the bar, framed in lush green foliage and decorated with heavy drapery. Standing there, you're likely to find a rather unassuming Miqo'te girl with raven hair and violet eyes, peering at you expectantly.

Sanguinaria is a roleplay-focused venue, however guests are more than welcome to visit the space simply to GPose and/or AFK. That said, we are welcoming to all levels of roleplay experience, so even if you are only just starting out on your roleplay endeavors, do not feel discouraged!Please be aware that Sanguinaria is based out of a Small house. As a result, the number of people allowed inside at any given time is relatively low. Please be prepared to wait outside for an opportunity to enter the estate.Operating Hours:

*Sangunaria is a void build (AKA an out-of-bounds build). As such, you will need to use the 'elevator' to access the actual lounge. When you enter the building, step straight ahead into the elevator-shaped space. Position yourself so you are pressed against the center of the "doors" of the elevator, and then jump. If you fail the jump and get stuck by the chandelier, either turn around and run back through the wall, or 'Move to Front Door' in the social housing menu.

Rules / Guidelines

- As Sanguinaria is a roleplay-focused venue, please keep out-of-character conversations in /say to a minimum, and using some form of (parenthesis) or [brackets] to denote when you are not speaking in-character. "Quotations" around dialogue are not required, but encouraged.
- While Sanguinaria is a mature venue, please keep all public roleplay and conversations PG-13.
- Please use party chat/tells liberally when the lounge is busy, to not clutter chat.
- Please dismiss all minions and hide your weapons before entering the building.
- Sanguinaria welcomes all. Racism, xenophobia, homophobia, hate speech, or any other form of bigotry will not be tolerated.
- Any in-character arguments, fights, and explicit roleplay should be kept in private messages or taken elsewhere.
- Please approach a staff member at the bar directly if you would like to place an order. This can be done through /tell or /say, depending on preference.
- Bards are welcome to make use of the stage inside of the lounge for performances. Please speak to a staff member if you would like the orchestrion paused.
- If joining the syncshell, please refrain from using any explicit mods while in the venue.Failure to adhere to any of these rules / guidelines will get you permanently blacklisted.

Patrons are welcome to pick from any number of classic drink options, but are also encouraged to try one of Sanguinaria's handcrafted specials, which feature predominantly fruity and berry notes - particularly blackberries, which feature in 4 of the 7 drinks.Please approach the bartender to make an order. You can request something generic (eg. wine, beer, etc), or you can make an order for one of our handcrafted drinks. All non-menu item drinks are priced at a flat 5,000 gil (Mesquite Juice).

Menu orders are intended to be a way to support the venue, therefore tips are not required, but greatly appreciated. An in-game consumable item will be traded, and are listed above. Naturally, the in-game items do not match the customized menu items 1:1. Please use your imagination!If you are not interested in the item or are unable to pay and would simply like to roleplay ordering and receiving a drink, that is okay! Just let the bartender know in a quick /tell.

The owner

Most would likely get a particular idea in mind about the bar's owner upon walking inside. Perhaps it belongs to a brooding old Elezen, with gaunt cheeks and a hooked nose, or perhaps a sharp eyed Xaela with needle-sharp horns and bold tattoos framing the gaps between their scales. Maybe a silver-haired sailor with a scar across an eye, or perhaps even a dark magic wielding Lalafell with a history in thaumaturgy.But all of those assumptions would be wrong.Instead, behind the bar awaits one rather unassuming: A young adult Miqo'te woman in her prime, a bit on the shorter and fuller-figured side, with long black hair and pale, clan marked skin. Her pale violet eyes are bright and doe-like as she peers around the bar, her cherry-stained lips pursed - in contemplation at best, mild annoyance at worst. She would look out of place, if not for the way she effortlessly mixes handcrafted drinks in a way that suggests she could likely do it in her sleep - and perhaps has.One would be quick to realize that she doesn't talk much, and when she does, her voice is soft and dry, tone bordering on annoyed, or at the very least, disinterested. Between helping guests, it's not abnormal to find her retreating to the back counter with a book to thumb through in silence, or quietly nursing her own drink of choice for the night.
